My First Blog Post: About

Hello everyone and welcome to my new fashion and beauty blog called, Golden Hunny. The name of my blog represents glimmering women all over the world that love style, fashion and beauty. My name is Olivia and I am a marketing student living in Victoria, British Columbia. I moved here last year to attend school and study Business with a major in Marketing so when I am not busy studying or doing homework, I often find inspiration through fashion and makeup. I really enjoy following fashion trends and keeping up with all things beauty so I wanted to share the amazing things I have come across through researching brands, following models and other influencers spreading their knowledge. As a 21 year old woman, I am constantly looking at the top trends for each season, following beauty influencers to find what the best products on the market are as well as seeking lifestyle tips and tricks to better myself and daily practices.

I personally gravitate to very soft, subtle beauty trends much like the makeup shown above from the skincare and beauty brand Glossier. I will be showcasing my favourite makeup looks going from day-to-day wearable glow as well as striking glossy night time looks. In addition to my go-to makeup faves, I will feature looks that are on trend for the current seasons as well as upcoming trends to start looking out for in 2020. Living in Victoria, British Columbia, I am very inspired by my surroundings such as the calm ocean . I often like to dress very calm yet sophisticated through neutral undertones with small pops of colour and in the upcoming weeks I will be featuring my favourite ways to do this using inspiration from fashion brands and models.

My main goal for this blog is to inspire the readers through style and beauty as well as ensuring the people reading this continue to shine on!
